Work > Stage Lights

While exploring the definition of a stage, I came to think about the atmosphere that exists behind the scenes of a set. For this work I was particularly interested in a conversation between stage lights and stylistic pendant lights designed for a home or window display. Instead of creating pendant lights that illuminate themselves, I created nonfunctional lights that are lit through an external source (the stage lights). I am interested in the act of staging and how it has the ability shift in our attention depending on what is being displayed or performed.
